My occupation is COOK and I'm holding a SC485 visa (visa grant number : XXXXXXXXXXXX) , willing to apply for SC885 visa. My points test result is 115, 5 points under the passmark. I wonder if I'm eligible to be awarded points for Australian work experience in my circumstances or when will I be able to claim points for Australian work experience? I had previously worked as (level 2 kitchen attendant) in a paid position at Hyatt Regency Adelaide on a casual basis from 24/09/07 till 05/04/08 total 400 hours, ( it is not continuously 20 hours per week, sometimes less than 20 hours and sometimes more). Now I'm having an ongoing casual job as a COOK at Greyhound Racing SA commenced from 27/04/09, with more than 20 hours per week, average 35 hours per week.
Does my work in the HYATT as Lv 2 Kitchen Attendant accountable for work experience??
Is the 1 Year period of 20 hours per week means 1 full year(52 weeks or 12 months) non-stop of working which means i can only be eligible to claim points after 27/04/10 the date i started working at the Greyhound Racing SA??
