Yes, I would do that if I am you.  Don't forget to spend at least 2 days in Mt Cook, 1 day in Queenstown, and of course, at least spend 1 day or more in Milford Sound.  Rent a car is the best way to tour New Zealand.

去年去的，也是那边有旅行团，你可以自己坐飞机过去，然后加入当地得华人旅行团。
不错。特别是南岛。。

一周的话，就直接去南岛吧，这样时间都算比较紧。Queenstown是必去的，漂流强烈建议，就是和汽艇一起的那家。还有建议在冰川那边坐直升飞机，最好是能在山顶上停的那种。Queenstown不远的Lake Wanaka一定要去看看。Milford Sound我们是从Queenstown开车当天去当天回的，路上稍微有点累，但是路上和Milford Sound的风景都很棒。总之一定要自驾，因为你会随时想下车拍照的。
