Rules

• Students who have taken for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, may be granted up to 18 units (4 courses) of credit or may substitute a course of equal standing and unit value, with the approval of the Program Director.

Notes

• Financial Accounting Fundamentals M and Advanced Accounting M are offered in both study periods 2 and 5 each year.
• Students who wish to satisfy the educational requirements for admission to the professional program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (to qualify as a chartered accountant) must take all courses as specified above.
• Students who wish to satisfy the educational requirements for admission to CPA Australia and to undertake professional studies with that organisation (to qualify as a CPA) may choose to replace one or both of the following courses with electives:
     
  ACCT 5014  Auditing Principles M
  ACCT 5017  Taxation Law M

以上notes中2,3点是不能两全的.
请问各位达人,选择2和选择3有什么区别呢.

我也是这个专业！lz是今年去么？我也觉得选课的事很麻烦。。。

CPA  和  ICAA 是澳洲2大会计组织。如果你以后要成为ICAA 的一员，上面的课都要读，如果你想成为CPA的一员，你可以选择读或者不读Auditing和Tax law。也就是说，即使你没有读这2门课，但是读了2门elective，也可以以后读CPA的program。（CPA program一共6门课，根据最新的课程结构设置，4门必修+2门选修。比如如果你在大学没有修Auditing，那么2门选修中的1门一定必须是Auditing）。但是，如果你想进入ICAA的课程，必须修完所列课程，和一定的工作经验，才可以开始）。

P.S  也建议你和program director double check the requirement。 我不读master，但是应该是这样的。希望有用。

看你自己之前的成绩决定要不要选income 和 auditing。这两门课是挂科率最高的。最恐怖的是只有成绩好的人才会去选，即使是成绩好的人也有一半被挂。通过的好处就是这两门课以后如果你要从事会计，那时一定要选的。考虑一下你是要稳妥毕业还是要精益求精。
